Sequential digital billboards in New York City for Figma Make Branding campaign DOOH

The team behind popular design platform Figma are no strangers to out-of-home advertising. For their most recent campaign, this rising tech brand leaned on PJX Media to streamline planning and execution.

PJX kicked things off by highlighting existing inventory via the Adstruc planning tool and quickly supplying availability based on real-time feedback. This simplified the typical back-and-forth, unlocking a more effective proposal experience rooted in their preferences.

The goal of Figma's efforts was to create a strong brand presence, primarily by engaging key audiences and helping them visualize the user interface (UI) and functionality of their design tool. The ads showcased Figma’s unique features, including innovative AI functionality, to provoke interest and curiosity in exploring the overall platform.

Two markets were prioritized, San Francisco (Figma’s backyard) and New York City, with highly impactful large formats as the focus.

For San Francisco, two billboards are active along the Skyway on a sequential basis, playing into traffic patterns as drivers will see these consecutive units back to back.

For New York, standout options in Penn District were recommended as this is a densely congested hub for business professionals as they commute. Ultimately, three oversized spectaculars were paired with a dominant street-level network for an immersive domination package that surrounds audiences heading into/out of Penn and Madison Square Garden.

This wave of placements went live mid-July (more are soon to follow), check out some of the images below!
