From LA to NYC: G/FORE's Bus Wraps Drive Contextual OOH

One of the most advantageous ways to use out-of-home advertising is for contextual messaging. Think of launching an OOH campaign around a certain location, time of day, weather, audience, and events. With the help of PJX Media, G/FORE, a youthful and modern golf and lifestyle brand, strategically launched some out-of-home campaigns this year that were great examples of contextual advertising.


To announce their new store opening in the Beverly Hills area of Los Angeles, G/FORE worked with PJX Media to activate guerrilla posters among 20 sites, plus launched a bold electric bus wrap that could be seen from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Century City. The bus strategically drove by the new storefront for maximum exposure. G/FORE capitalized on the OOH campaign by sharing the sizzle video and beauty photos of the bus wrap on their social media, which were professionally put together and delivered by PJX Media.

For their most recent out-of-home campaign with PJX Media, G/FORE wanted to advertise new products and their store in New York City during the Ryder Cup, a biennial men's golf competition between teams from Europe and the United States. Talk about contextual advertising, this event was the perfect opportunity for a relevant out-of-home campaign. To achieve this, PJX Media activated a custom route bus wrap during the Ryder Cup, which made their way around NYC including past the G/FORE storefront.
