International OOH Advertising for Pokemon

In preparation for the global launch of Scarlet & Violet (SV09) trading card game, Pokémon wanted to do something special in Mexico City. The company wanted to celebrate this monumental launch as it would be the first time the game would be localized into LATAM and in Spanish.


The brand wanted high-impact out-of-home media that would build brand awareness, especially to be timed with the release of the “Aventuras Compartidas” expansion. Working with their agency, the PJX team sourced out-of-home inventory that was a mix of digital and static/traditional OOH in landmark areas, including Museo Soumaya Granada and the WTC of CMDX. The final media plan included hand-painted murals and digital, full-motion video projections.
