Between school being out, the electricity and buzz around the World Cup, and a wave of road trips for America’s 250th birthday, summer travel is hitting record highs.


Because travelers are spending less time behind screens and more time on the move, out-of-home advertising has become the ultimate tool for travel and tourism brands.


Out-of-home reaches people effortlessly while they navigate the real world, whether they're looking for their next highway pitstop or waiting at an airport terminal.

Go Great Lakes Bay

The Great Lakes Bay Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau activated a billboard in Toledo, OH to promote a dino-mite exhibit at Dow Gardens. Running for 8 weeks, the billboard promotes the exhibit Dinosaurs Around the World Exhibition - Dow Gardens off the I-75 - a vital north-south artery in the area. The billboard promotes the outdoor exhibit with a prehistoric dinosaur and lush greenery in the background.

Visit Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is TripAdvisor's Top East Coast Beach Destination.


Visit Myrtle Beach (VMB) continues to use out-of-home advertising to connect with visitors and drive tourism. For its Spring to Summer 2026 campaign, VMB wanted to elevate the brand to encourage visitors to stay longer and spend more time visiting the area. Understanding Americans’ are more focused on affordability, the campaign promoted the idea of last-minute gateways in nearby markets,


From March to July, a programmatic digital out-of-home (PDOOH) campaign will run targeting screens within airports. Check out the mock-up below and read our blog to learn more about out-of-home inventory at the airport.

Winter Park Resort

Ski Resort Winter Park is the closest major mountain destination to Denver. The resort’s billboard off Highway 40 has been booked by Winter Park for a long-term (perm) campaign.


Winter Park recently refreshed its creative which now showcases its scenic gondolas and magnificent mountain views in the background. The copy is simple, showing Winter Park’s logo and providing directional info of being 18 miles away.
